This package consists of a complete set of tn3270 files, updated for the latest test version, 2.5b2. The files are organized as we distribute them to our users at Brown. The basic set of files needed to use tn3270 is in the “tn3270” folder, and supplementary files are in the “tn3270 Customization” folder.

There is one known temporary restriction. If you are using tn3270's built-in FTP server, you will not be able to use a password file successfully with it unless you are running System 7.
With older versions of system software, when a password file is specified all logins will be rejected, even correct logins. Correcting this problem requires an update to the development environment which is expected soon.
At the time this version was packaged for distribution there were no other known problems. However, this version of tn3270 has not yet received extensive testing. Please be careful when using it, and, of course, report any bugs you may find.
